Jennifer Ingrassia Ms. Ingrassia is a graduate of Saugerties High School and received her NYS L.P.N. license from Ulster County BOCES . Ms. Ingrassia has extensive knowledge and experience in working with at-risk youth. Before joining the team, she worked for Catskill High School as a P.E. Teaching Assistant. In the fall, Ms. Ingrassia will be continuing her post secondary education through Herkimer Community College. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves to bake! Heather Lincoln Ms Schultz is a NYS licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bacherlors Degree from SUNY New Paltz and her Masters degrees in Clinical Social Work , from Adelphi University. Ms Schultz has worked in the mental health field for 18 years in a variety of roles most recently as a psychotherapist at Columbia County Mental Health. She is passionate about working with at risk youth and their families. Ms Schultz enjoys hiking the Catskills, snowboarding, stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, cartwheeling, painting, knitting, dancing and playing with her two kids. Scott Turrin Scott Turrin has been an educator for fifteen years in schools from the Bronx to the Capital Region. He graduated from the University at Albany in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in United States History and English. Nominated as a First Team Football All American Offensive Tackle, The University inducted him into the Football Hall of Fame in 2003. Scott also holds a Masters Degree in Physical Education and certification as a School District Administrator. Mr. Turrin started teaching at the Warren Academy in 2018 and resides in the Capital District with his wife and two children. Math Teacher
Dan Horst Mr. Horst holds a Masters Degree in Secondary Education/Math and NYS Certification in Special Education. Mr. Horst has worked for Berkshire Union Free School District for 28 years! He is also the Assessor for the Town of Chatham. Mr Horst has been happily married for 32 years and has 10 children & 1 grandchild. D.J. Ingoldsby Mr. Ingoldsby is a graduate of Columbia High School and earned an Associates Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. Mr. Ingoldsby has 8 years experience with Berkshire Union Free School District, as a Primary Therapy Counselor and as a Teaching Assistant. Mr. Ingoldsby has extensive experience working with at risk youth. Mr. Ingoldsby has coached J.V. and Varsity basketball. In addition to also coaching softball, Mr. Ingoldsby served on the Board for the East Greenbush Girls Softball League. Dan Kalbfliesh Mr. Kalbfliesh has been in the field of education for 7 years. His 2016-2017 school year marked his 5th year with the district. He is one of the founding faculty of the Warren Street Academy. Mr. Kalbfliesh presented at The School Superintendent's Association National Conference in San Diego, CA in 2015. He was also a panelist on school restorative practices for the Capital Regional Youth Justice Team as part of Governor Cuomo's ongoing efforts to reform New York's juvenile justice system. Mr. Kalbfliesh is a graduate of Dowling College holding a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies & History. He also holds a Masters Degree in Special Education. Mr. Kalbfleish received two Certificates of Advanced Study, one in Building Leadership & the other in District Leadership from the College of St. Rose. He holds Professional New York State Teaching Certification in Social Studies/Special Education (7-12). He also holds Initial Certification in School Building Leadership. Mr. Kalbfliesh has worked at Berkshire Union Free School District since 2012. He is the district's Therapeutic Crisis Intervention trainer and created the Workforce Development Program at Warren Street Academy. Mr. Kalbfliesh developed 21st-Century learning opportunities for at-risk youth by intimately embedding technology into the learning curriculum for students. He is a contributing member of the Columbia County Intensive Prevention Network focused on reducing placements and eliminating service gaps. Prior to becoming School Principal, Mr. Kalbfliesh worked as the Day Program Coordinator where he managed intake, developed parent communication protocols and monitored IEP implementation for the district. Jabin Ahmed Jabin Ahmed graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelors in Sociology, and a Masters in Public Health at the University of New England. Jabin is a Hudson local and very passionate about serving her community! She is the co-Founder of Hudson Muslim Youth and has served on the board for the Hudson Area Library, Wise Bodies, and Long Table Harvest. She is also a core member in community improvement projects and organizations such as Columbia County Sanctuary Movement, Hudson Food Accessibility Core Group, and Raising Places. Through her work, education, and volunteerism Jabin hopes to dedicate her life to improving the lives of women and children in her own community and beyond. Aside from her work in the community Jabin has experience working with refugees, victims of crime, and troubled youth. In her free time Jabin enjoy's long hikes, traveling, photography, painting, sketching, writing and spending time with loved ones. Social Studies Teacher
Sean Miller My name is Sean Miller and I am the new Social Studies teacher at the Warren Street Academy. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in the spring of 2017 with a BA in History and a MST in Education. I enjoy traveling with my family, outdoor activities like skiing and hunting, as well as finding new museums to explore. I look forward to my time at the Warren Street Academy, and for the opportunity to share my experiences with our students. Science Teacher
Martin Glazer Martin Glazer recently graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester with certificates in Science and Special Education. He is from a small town in the Adirondacks called Ticonderoga. He is a Quaker and uses the peaceful, meditative qualities of the religion to guide his classroom environment. In his free time, Martin enjoys hiking and relaxing with his wife. Kasey Thomas My name is Kasey Thomas. I’ve been with WSA for a year. I have a passion and care for all the students that gets fulfilled everyday I come to work, to the point of furthering my education in college to earn a degree in Teaching so I can do this for the rest of my life. I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter Liliyauna, we enjoy hiking and camping and swimming. I also have a large extended family who I am very close with. I have spent a majority of my adulthood in jobs that allow me to help others with a variety of different needs. With WSA I found finally found the perfect fit. Academic Resource Facilitator
